Lum - Tiger Yukata #3

With so much to do in September, I didn't finish Lum's yukata this time. But, I partially made the obi-ita, just need to add a cover and the waist elastic. I finished tacking the denim interfacing to the obi, made the new and bigger fan, and manged to hem one of the sleeves too!

There are still to do:

⚡️finish hemming the yukata, I believe it's just one sleeve, by now

⚡️redo the yukata's collar, so it pops towards the back, instead of staying close to the neck

⚡️get new ties/ribbon for the obi

⚡️make a koriin belt

⚡️trim and restyle the wig

⚡️make a hadajuban

+ It always feels awesome wearing Lum, she's so much fun! and it's a nice change from so many CLAMP cosplays.

- unfortunately it's a very loud costume, which means e-ve-ry-bo-dy looks at me in the street. Plus, I really got fatter during the last lockdown, the obi became a bit short. I need to loose at least these pandemic pounds.

THE CUNNING PLAN

Try to finish that to do list above.

Yuuko Ichihara - Foxy Lady #14

the wood bar the will be a cane

I finally bought the wood bar to make the ruby cane. I asked on Facebook if someone knew where I could use a lathe machine, and one of the guys from the Sardinha em Lata animation production studio, said they have one I could use. I still have to book it.

Now I just need to get the ruby red plexiglass.

+ I got the wood bar precut to a size near the size I needed, it's almost perfect.

- I never worked with a lathe machine, so I hope they are able to help me, because I'm sure it's one of those cases where practice makes perfect.

THE CUNNING PLAN

Book to use the lathe machine, and see what is needed.
