| sculpted and before sculpting |
So... I had to take a break. I had a short job and a paper and presentation to finish for the uni, so I really wasn't in the mood for sculpting foam. But after, I think my mojo is slowly coming back and I finished sculpting in 3 evenings.
Using my templates, first I cut the edges, at 45°, with an old knife, I don't use in the kitchen, and started filing it smooth with my small files. The file was lifting the foam fibers, so I finished shaping and smoothing the foam with sandpaper.

They're both fairly even, even though I didn't have the patience to sand them thoroughly to the templates' shape. But, looking at them, I'm fairly happy with the shape.

| bronze-y watch chain and wire |
I also bought the chains, there was no golden chain, but this brass bronze-y can be cleaned, and it becomes a shinier gold colour. I also got these brass wire pins, because I was running out and need some for Dr. Ban. Now I only need to acquire the plexiglass.
+ The foam is easy to sculpt, even though it also splits.
- it's a very messy process and I don't have the patience to do it for very long, and it seams the last stretch is where nothing happens.
THE CUNNING PLAN
Maybe sand them a bit more, if I have the patience. After that, cover it in plaster filler, and start thinking about the pods.
